How it works

Expertise
  1. Tell Us Who You Care For

Speak to our representatives about your situation. If you are providing care (e.g., feeding, hygiene, dressing) for a friend or relative, you meet the key criteria.

  2. Review Medicaid Status & Determine Care Needs

We verify the existing Medicaid waiver programs (MyCare and PASSPORT) and arrange a home visit by a nurse to assess care needs – so you can start receiving compensation fast.

  3. Sign an Agreement

The caregiver signs an agreement with Entyre Care and we take care of all the paperwork to set up the monthly pay.

  4. Get Support

Always feel supported in your care situation with ready access to additional resources and our care professionals.

Ohio’s Medicaid waiver programs

MyCare

MyCare Ohio is a managed care program for people who qualify for both Medicare and Medicaid, combining services like medical care, behavioral health, and in-home support into one plan. Available in select counties, it simplifies benefits and adds extras like transportation, OTC items, and meal support after hospital stays. Participants can choose to include both Medicare and Medicaid or keep their Medicare plan separate.

PASSPORT

Ohio’s PASSPORT Waiver helps seniors stay in their homes by offering Medicaid-funded in-home support like personal care, meals, transportation, and even paid caregiving by family members. Eligible participants can choose between agency-provided care or hire their own caregivers—including relatives—through self-directed options like C-HCAS or CD-PCS.

All Medicaid Waiver programs are designed to allow friends & family members to care for their loved ones at home – and get paid for it.

“My father was a beloved educator who spent his life giving to others–his students, his community, and of course, our family. He’s almost 90 now and over the past years, we’ve really had to study up and figure out how to manage his care. As the primary caregiver, Entyre Care’s coaching and reassurance were invaluable to me. They’ve really helped me navigate the journey. I feel calmer now handling the day-to-day and can just focus on cherishing every moment we have together.”

“After my mom was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, daily care for her got much more overwhelming. And I love my mom very much, but it was all taking a toll on me not just physically but emotionally and financially as well. It was a lot. I felt like I was drowning trying to stay on top of everything on my own. But Entyre Care changed that. The financial support helped a lot with bills– I don’t stress about coming up short anymore. And the guidance from my care team just helped me be more confident. I feel more like her daughter again, not just her caregiver.”
