What is the Caregiver Compensation Program?

Funded by a state health plan, the Caregiver Compensation Program allows a friend or relative to provide 24-hour care in their own homes. Caregivers receive a monthly tax-free compensation for their services, to help with the burden of care. Caregiver Compensation Program could be the solution for adults unable to live on their own who would like to retain the dignity and freedom of living at home.

4 Steps to earning compensation

Expertise

  1. Meet the Requirements

    You must be caring for a friend or relative (e.g., helping with feeding, personal hygiene, positioning, dressing, and undressing) and live together. If the above apply to you, then you meet the most important criteria.

  2. Determine Care Needs

    During a personal visit to the home of the person in need of care by one of our qualified nursing professionals, we determine the care required. This assessment is repeated every 6 months.

  3. Sign an Agreement

    The caregiving friend or relative signs an agreement with Entyre Care and can be compensated up to $1,500 per month for the care provided.

  4. Get Support

    In addition to personal visits, you can get support from one of our care professionals at any time. Our aim is to ensure that you never feel isolated in a care situation again.
